The Dragon Naturally Speaking 10

How fast of a typer are you? Can you type over a hundred words per minute? I don't. And I certainly can't. You see, growing up in the country Philippines and having had my education there, access to the computer isn't possible at all when you're just in the lower grades till high school and is studying in a public school. It was already in college when I learned to use the computer. That's not very long ago yet, and my degree isn't really related to computer stuff so imagine my limited exposure to the computer thing. And one thing you need to know more, it is so rare for any household in Philippines to own a personal computer. The basic needs are the top priority of every family back there. So when I got here in the United States four years ago, my access to the computer became unlimited. In fact, more than that. But it was more on surfing the internet only because I didn't have a career in the blogging industry yet at first. I started studying the Medical Transcription course online and that's when my typing skill was at its peak. Sure, it developed my 10 fingers on typing well and fast. When I started blogging a year ago, I think I am confident enough to define myself as a fast typer considering that I could type 70 words per minute. But when a friend, a fellow blogger told me about a software that she's using which enables her to type faster than 70 words per minute, I was curious. But, I am hesitant to get one for myself, even if I wanted one, simply because I am not a native English Speaker.

And then, I am informed about the Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Standard. Having will enable anyone to type 150 words per minute. So much better and faster, if you are a blogger yourself! Unbelievable, eh? Well, there is also a Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred version and below are videos which will help you understand further what DNS 10 can do for you.

I also read about the NYT on Dragon article and I've learned that indeed, the DNS 10 software, a speech recognition software as I understand it, is very beneficial to anyone who aims of typing faster and better. Oh what comfort, ease, and convenience does it make!
